To help you get to know Bridget a little better, we asked her a few questions…
1. What is your role at Always Take Care?
I’m the Manager and Director.
2. How long have you worked at ATC?
I joined the home care agency in 2010 .
3. What do you enjoy most about your work?
I like knowing that we make a difference to people’s lives with the help that we offer. No day is ever the same and I love the variety that working with people offers. I meet such fascinating and interesting people along the way, through both clients and carers.
4. What’s a fun fact about you that your colleagues might not know?
I am definitely much funnier than they think.
5. What’s your favourite hobby or pastime outside of work?
I love crafts of any sort.
6. Do you have a favourite book, podcast, or movie you’d recommend?
I listen to “The Midpoint with Gabby Logan” – she has a brilliant and varied guest list. And I love the book “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse” by Charlie Mackesy.
7. Coffee, tea, or something else?
I love tea and I drink a lot of it. I often think if tea contained alcohol I would be in a lot of trouble.
8. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
It would be to manage time and how you fit things into it – especially when you are leaving the house.
9. What destination is at the top of your travel bucket list?
Japan – I would love to see the cherry blossom trees.
10. If you could learn any skill instantly, what would it be?
Pottery – it’s much harder than it looks.
